Los Angeles, CA – January 16, 2026 – 4Digital Media has acquired U.S. and UK rights to Raptus, the AI-fueled erotic thriller written and directed by Bennet De Brabandere, with a release set for January 27, 2026.

After a brutal assault, Sarah Mathis turns to an experimental android-based therapy to take back her mind—until escalating the treatment awakens something dangerous, and she must survive the violence she thought she’d left behind.

Raptus stars Ksenia Solo (Black Swan, Lost Girl), Nolan Gerard Funk, Christina Cox, and Zio Forrest Lee. Produced by Michel Kandinsky and De Brabandere for Mercury 3 Film Productions, the film blends near-future science fiction with erotic thriller elements.

Raptus explores trauma, consent, and the uneasy territory where technology becomes a proxy for human connection – building suspense inside a contained, high-concept story that keeps the stakes personal, immediate, and escalating.
