Exit 44 Heads to Seattle for the Inaugural Tasveer Film Market

Exit 44 Entertainment is among the production companies taking part in the inaugural Tasveer Film Market, billed as North America's first industry hub connecting South Asian stories with global executives. The market runs October 8–12 in Seattle, held alongside the 20th anniversary edition of the Tasveer Film Festival.

Exit 44's Eric Brodeur is on the ground in Seattle, with the studio joining a roster of attending companies that includes Monkeypaw Productions, Atomic Monster, Waititi Productions, South Stack Studios, Marginal Media, Prototype Content and Strand Entertainment — all on hand to meet with the filmmakers behind this year's selected projects.

The market is showcasing 17 projects drawn from India, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Bangladesh and North America across a wide range of genres. A Tasveer Film Fund Pitch Event, sponsored by Netflix, will award $140,000 in production grants — $35,000 each to four projects.
