Film Threat Calls “11th Hour Cleaning” a Strong, Atmospheric Debut
Film Threat critic Bobby LePire has reviewed 11TH HOUR CLEANING, awarding Ty Leisher's feature directorial debut a 7.5 out of 10 and calling it “a strong, if imperfect, start.”
Directed by Leisher and written with Ed Morrone, the film follows a crime-scene cleanup crew — owner Dylan, his wife Rachel, ex-convict brother-in-law Marcus and Hannah — called to a house after a tragic family murder. As they work, they discover a Nordic demon has trapped them inside, turning their personal regrets and fears into weapons.
The review praises “engaging characters whose personal drama comes to a head as they fight for their lives,” and singles out a “wonderful foreboding atmosphere.” LePire notes the cast delivers believable performances, with Anita Leeman Torres nearly stealing the show in a brief exchange and strong turns from Edward Finlay, Ed Morrone and Chloe Brooks.
